Since 1987 the Wisconsin Viking Club has provided thousands of basketball players the opportunity to develop their skills by competing with and against the best players in the nation. With its emphasis on skill development and high quality competition, 10U - 19U female athletes from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan have chosen to make the Viking Club/Team Wisconsin their elite basketball club.

 

Now in its 27th year, Team Wisconsin and the Viking Club are highly respected by college coaches, high school coaches, and youth basketball coaches because of the depth and desire of its teams. The success of athletes that have played with the Viking Club/Team Wisconsin is unsurpassed. 500+Viking Club/Team Wisconsin athletes have signed NCAA Division I or II college scholarships, as well as thousands of student-athletes that have gone on to play collegiate basketball at the NCAA Division III, NAIA and JUCO levels.

 

The Wisconsin Viking Club and Team Wisconsin is a highly regarded and easily recognizable name throughout the country. 

 

The Wisconsin Viking Club/ Team Wisconsin was founded by Keith Noll in 1987 with just 25 athletes. At the time, there were no AAU teams or clubs in Wisconsin. Keith changed all that and today hundreds of girls play on AAU teams throughout the state each year. Keith went on to become the Governor of Wisconsin AAU for all sports in 1994, the Girls Basketball Chair for Wisconsin, the AAU National Chair for Football and Hockey programs with 35,000+ student-athletes, and currently serves on the National AAU Board Of Directors as the Governor's Zone C & D Representative. Keith was inducted into the AAU Volunteer Hall of Fame at the 2012 AAU National Convention on the Big Island of Hawaii.

 

Along with Keith, his family has served as an important role in the leadership and longevity of the program. Keith's wife Lydia, their son, Mark and daughter in law, Kara all volunteer with the Team Wisconsin.

 

Their daughter, Natalie, can usually be seen at Shootout tournaments helping Lydia with check-in. She was awarded the "Inspiring Women" award by the WNBA Minnesota Lynx team in 2013 for her community work.
